It's Finally Here!: Inaugural 12-Team Playoff Bracket, Moral Victories, and Optimistic Outlooks?

The Decleated Duo are ecstatic about the first ever 12-team playoff bracket, but have to contain their excitement until they discuss the Packers and Giants. Seamus is tired of the Packers' moral victories, but perhaps their loss to Detroit last week is the first one he can get behind. John on the other hand, was disappointed but not at all surprised by the Giants' last second loss to the Saints. With that said, maybe he's actually optimistic about the Gmen righting the ship next season. Finally, the Duo breakdown the seeding and overall CFP bracket process, as well as give their predictions from the first round to the championship.

Seed It: NFL Division Battles & CFB Conference Championship Preview

John and Seamus share their Thanksgiving Day viewing experiences for the Giants and Packers respectively. While John was busy eating turkey during the Giants game, Seamus was able to enjoy one of the most complete Packers wins of the season. The duo discuss the tough road ahead for Green Bay in the best division in football and discuss  current playoff seeding with other teams around the league heating up. They also look forward to an exciting weekend of college football championship football which will ultimately lead to the final CFB playoff bracket and set the stage for what should be an amazing, football-filled December.

Perfect Timing: Complementary Football, Early Exits, and Holiday Decorating Games

Happy Thanksgiving from the Decleated Duo! John kicks the episode off by recounting his record breaking earliest exit from a Giants game in his lifetime as a fan. Tommy Cutlets was able to put more butts in seats at MetLife stadium but Devito and Co were not able to keep them there very long. Seamus then praises the Packers for their most complimentary game of football yet, including an unexpected love letter to Josh Jacobs. The Duo wrap up by trotting through the Thanksgiving games, as well as the remaining week 12 slate, which according to Seamus, might be the perfect time to get some holiday decorating done.

End of an Era: Daniel Jones, Packers (Barely) Keep Ownership Rights, CFP Playoff Intrigue

The New York Football Giants have officially moved on from Daniel Jones and John is finally vindicated. For the first time in what seems like years, there’s optimism in John’s voice when he talks about the Giants’ future. After John’s well deserved diatribe, a hard act to follow, Seamus expresses the guilt he feels after the Packers beat the Bears by the tip of a finger. Finally, like clockwork, the Duo discuss the ever evolving College Football Playoff scenarios with only two weeks left before conference championships. 

Bye Bye Bye: Recuperation and QB Changes

As the Packers come off their bye week and the Giants enter theirs, the Decleated Duo's favorite teams have very different goals for the remainder of the season. Seamus is rejuvenated after the bye week and hopes the Packers are too, making them poised for another late season hot-streak entering the playoffs. John on the other hand, looks forward to a potential quarterback change during the Giants bye week. The Duo then share their excitement about the college football playoff scenarios which get increasingly more complicated as the weeks go by.

Man in the Mirror: GB and NYG Have Some Reflecting to do

Same sh*t, different week for the Giants AND the Packers. John can't help but skim through the Giants game and jump into the eventful trade deadline because there's nothing new to say about the Gmen. Seamus gets fired up about the Packers sloppy performance against the division leading Detroit Lions. And the Decleated Duo end on a brighter note by discussing the release of the first ever 12-team College Football Playoff bracket.

Scary Situations: Packers Injury Troubles, Giants Team Struggles, Trick or Treat CFB Edition

The roller coaster known as the Packers 2024 season has gotten a little scarier with yet another Jordan Love injury. While they pulled out a win, Seamus hopes a less than 100% Love can get a HUGE divisional win against Detroit. For the Giants, it's been the same ole story again this week. The defense continues to shine and the offense continues to let them down. John looks to CFB to actually have something fun and worth the energy to discuss. The duo talk about some of teams who are "Tricks" and "Treats" at the college level.

Giants are Cooked: Saquon's revenge, NFC North Heating Up, No. 1 Oregon Ducks

Another wild weekend has the Packers shutting down the Houston offense and special teams coming in clutch. The Giants offense rendered useless with Thomas out and Jones in has led to fans losing their minds.  The decleated duo discuss the new MVP frontrunner and who has the biggest chance to upset the unbeaten Chiefs. 

How Bout Those Ducks: NFL Week 6, Davante Adams Trade, and Oregon's Big Win

Although John's Giants fell back into their old, disappointing ways, the Oregon Ducks saved John's weekend with their big win over #2 Ohio State. The Packers took care of business against the Cardinals, prior to their showdown against another rising star in CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans. The Decleated Duo also discuss the implications of the Jets' acquisition of Davante Adams and how this changes their season's trajectory.
